Help Us Build! Watch Us Grow Our Outdoor Community!

  • Roughing It Since the Beginning....

This outhouse was built by a construction class at Crete High in the 90s. It’s served us well, but with a new well and a new septic system, it’s time to move into the 21st century with modern plumbing available for those who come to stay or visit for the day!

  • Storage Building in Peril....

Once upon a time, we’re told that this building may have housed a shower. That’s long gone, and it’s been used in the last 10 years or so for storage of maintenance equipment. It rests under a couple of trees that frequently lose large branches. We’ve “taped” it together for about as long as we can, and need to find alternative storage and take it down soon.

  • The Near Future, With Your Help!

We have a plan! A new building with ADA-compliant men’s and women’s restrooms, plus a shower on each side. The other side of the building will have a “super-sized” storage area which will be able to easily house all of the maintenance equipment we have, plus provide sheltered programming space for outdoor classroom activities.
